This severe duty unit is the industry's most ruggedly built gunrack reel trailer specially tailored for the underground market. It is impossible to lose a pin or reel on the highway because there are no pins to secure the reel.  All REELSTRONG models are engineered to this end; however, the GR Powerlock II™ reel-securing design intuitively secures the reel with no possibility of losing a reel-securing pin that results in costly down time, maintenance, and possible liability. If the reel lock is not secured a red warning is visible in your rearview mirror. If it is locked, a green indicator is visible (see illustration below).  The reel lock has a safety catch to ensure it is fully locked in place and will not pop out. 

We provide the industry's best hand pump that powers up and powers "down", eliminating operators from unsafely jumping up and down on the reel bar which is common with competitor models.

The GR is visibly built far more rugged than the competition and with just the right (marginal) extra weight to lower the amount of bouncing down the road when empty. The GR  (and the competition's gunrack design) has no cross-axle suspension so large reels can be hauled by pick-up trucks and center-of-gravity kept low).
